Text Ads on Google Display Network
To attract users with easily editable advertising content when they browse the website or use the app, you can create a text ad. To run new text ads, you can create responsive ads or expanded text ads.
This article will briefly introduce the types of text ads that can be placed on Google Display Network.
Types of Text Ads Can be Placed on Google Display Network
- Responsive ads
Responsive ads can be displayed in many different formats, including text ads. Responsive ads are perfectly adapted to millions of placements, and they will automatically switch from text ads to image ads in order to adapt to the different advertising places.
- Expanded text ads
Expanded text ads (ETAs), which are the next generation of Google text ads, can be shown on the Display Network in a different format than in Search. We will discuss this in detail in another post.
- Standard text ads
Standard text ads are the most common ads created by texts. You are no longer able to create and edit standard text ads on Google Display Network. The existing standard text ads on Google Display Network can, however, still run.
- Dynamic text ads
Text ads in remarketing campaigns that are linked to Google Merchant Center product data might automatically be upgraded to dynamic ads. These dynamic ads can also run on Google Display Network.
